Texas Christian University's Green Pavilion was featured at the 2009 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas. Prairie Designs and students at Texas Christian University put together two small demonstration green roofs on the structure, one on the upper level and one at ground level for easy viewing. The new headquarters building for the Botanical Research Institute of Texas is planned to feature a green roof based largely after research conducted by Jon Kinder and Dave Williams. Fort Worth Country Day built four research modules for student research on green roofs as a proof of concept for future buildings. Prairie Designs collaborated with students from FWCD to design the experiments. Click here for more info.
