Prairie Designs is happy to announce its involvement with Growers Austin, an Austin-based green roof organization for the promotion of green roofs. Specifically, Growers will be filing for 501c3 non-profit status soon, and will be holding a fundraiser event on October 16th to raise the necessary funds. House + Earth has graciously agreed to host this fundraiser, which will include concessions, a plant sale, and a very impressive green-roofed shed. This small scale green roof structure is planned to include native plants and re-used cedar siding. See the pictures below.
